The Tryst: Morning After Bliss

Did I mention that The Psychic Troubleshooters story has sex in it? Some pretty good sex in fact?

Yet another rough... but not as rough as some of the others I put up recently. This is probably the first somewhat "naughty" piece I did that was related to the tale, but besides being self indulging and entertaining, it actually served a purpose, as I wanted to get a feel of what these three would be like around each other, as their relationship is very important and unique in this little yarn.

Basically, Northstar, Katrona, and Roanne are all involved with each other, in a deeply committed relationship that is affectionately called "The Tryst". Northstar and Katrona are bonded as "lifemates" (which is pretty much a marriage, but much deeper than that), and Roanne became a strongly committed and beloved consort of theirs, soon becoming an integral part of the total relationship. They are not only deeply in love (and well, lust) with each other, but they have sworn a sacred oath to always be there for one another, and to be as one. This commitment has some decent benefits... besides the obviousness of the intensely pleasurable sex, their magical powers and energies are actually increased, as each time they are with each other intimately, they charge each other up, as their energies intertwine with and nourish one another.

Wow, I talked more about the concept than the drawing itself.

Anyways, this was just a quick little piece I wanted to do in order to get a decent feel for their relationship. It's kinda playful in a way, at least to me, as Roanne looks like she's thinking of taking advantage of the fact that she was the first one to wake up... probably going to play some kind of a prank, or maybe she's just looking at them with loving amusement. I'm slightly disappointed with the way she looks by the way... I hadn't quite nailed the shape of her face yet here... but overall she's ok. Katrona and Northstar however, are pretty much spot on... the only thing is that Northstar's hair is shorter than it would soon become. Not by much, but still noticeably so.

Note the tattoo on Katrona's arm... it's actually pretty important. I'll go into that with some other drawing though... I yapped too much here.
